Today no one can not escape from terrorism. There is no guarantee, one can return safely to home after going out to work or other needs. I was so surprised, after hearing a statement from honourable Home Minister. After 26/11, there is no major terror attacks in India. I hope that those groups not concentrating India at present. They are fighting with Pakistan and Afganisthan areas.
In last two years, there are many bomb blasts and one direct attack. I'm doubt about the lessons learnt from these kind of events. I was reading few newspapers on Nov26 and Dec6. All the states are tighten the security for those two days. What will be the next security day? On the other day, I was attending a retired Police Officer speech. He told that We are not investing in advanced techniques and equipments for the security.

Worst service - Samsung Bangalore
I have experienced few disappointing services for household items. Usually it will take time and problems were solved. I have heard the working environment and customer relationship in Samsung. But whatever happened with Samsung, I feel very worst in my life so far.
I bought a LCD TV and got a DVD player as a add-on. The USB facility is not working in DVD player. I told to the executive, who came for demo. After that I logged a ticket with Samsung service, Bangalore. BP NO: 8404038880 I logged this issue on September 2009. One service representative came and he also ensured the issue. After that no proper response. I tried the contact no 080-3030 8282. But no response and no improvements. There is no facility to enquire about my service ticket. Only my phone bill increased.
I never imagine such a bad support with Samsung. Now more than 70 days taken and still the issue is not moved any step further. Thanks for this much customer centric (oriented) service. I'm sure, they can not solve this problem in 2010...

Patriotism
Everybody would have reacted for any one of the events like 'it will not happen, if it is in foreign'. I am feeling our self esteem towards country got reduced into irreparable value. How are we behaving with others and especially with foreigners?
Last week, I was going through Subroto Bagchi's blog. I read his post My Mother is an Ugly Woman. This post is read by all Indians especially by younger generation. We must correct ourselves and should not let down our values.
Few lines from that post:
[I can deal with my poor, uneducated, disheveled countrymen back home, begging at traffic intersections, troubling foreigners, living in squalor and defecating in public view, and behaving in a thousand other unacceptable ways.
But I have difficulty when the educated, the well-to-do, the ones who have everything going for them, mentally defecate, trying to impress the world at the cost of their own country.
After lunch, when the young man was finally on his way and Koblenz was behind us, I thought of the idea of motherland.
The word “Motherland” evoked the image of my mother.
In that moment I wondered if there is anyone in the whole world who thinks that his mother is not beautiful.]
